Molded from clay hemispherical oil lamp with a large opening. From the hemisphere goes a clay pipe. At the top edge, three coconut fiber cords were pulled through three holes, evenly spaced for hanging. One of the cords was pulled through a thin piece of bamboo. The Palauan archipelago is the only group of islands in Micronesia where these oil lamps were made and used.
